On-Stage Pitch Competition
The Pitch Competition is the most visible and fun way to pitch your startup to everyone at the conference at the same time.
This is how it works:
In the morning of the conference, 6 startups will pitch on stage in front of the full audience of 500 attendees. For many founders, this is their biggest pitch yet!
The top 3 startups, as selected by the audience, will advance to the investor panel composed of VCs in the afternoon, for the chance to win the Best Startup trophy.
Of the more than 100 startups that apply each year, only 6 will be selected to pitch on stage. The competition is fierce!
Rules
The application entry must be submitted through AngelList. Early applications receive extra consideration (due to time constraints), so don’t apply at the last minute. The deadline to apply on AngelList is April 18.
If you do not have an AngelList profile yet, now is a great time to create one. You do not have to be currently looking for money to have an AngelList profile, any startup at any stage can create a profile.
The competition is open to startups that have raised less than $2M in funding and are less than 4 years old.
There is a sweetspot in our heart for self-funded startups, so even if you are one solo entrepreneur in your garage, as long as you came up with something great, do apply!
